Wet Wet Wet are set got a new album and tour are in for 2012, according to bassist Graeme Clark.

The band formed in the 1980s and later to cover their huge success in 1994 thanks to the fun "The Troggs' Love Is All Around, which topped charts worldwide.

Scottish group's last album in 2007 after 10 years away from the chart and the quartet's tour next year a new record and is preparing to reunite for (12).

Clarke, who quit the band last year (10) to focus on individual projects reveals that he is eager to return until he came back with a new sound.

He tells Britain's Daily Record, "Everybody is busy. I speak to them once or twice a month. There is an element of the logistics of getting these four people at the same time to decide when to do this.

"Next year, there will be exciting stuff - a new tour and a new Wet Wet Wet album. I have put it to the guys and they agreed we have to be seen to be current.

"There has got to be a new album, otherwise it becomes nostalgia. We are looking at dates in the autumn."
